Marketing Analyst - Search Engine Optimization - Cvent India Pvt. Ltd.

Job Description

Cvent is seeking a search engine marketing analyst to join its growing digital marketing team. This candidate will work with other search analysts and the digital marketing team in our Gurgaon office. The ideal candidate is data-driven, proactive, creative, and familiar with B2B search advertising. Experience working with SaaS companies or hospitality companies is a plus. The candidate should have a strong understanding of current SEO and SEM best practices.

Position Duties :-

  • Work with multiple blogs to ensure SEO initiatives including linking and content creation are in-line with SEO best practices 
  • Analyze and optimize multiple international and US-based web proprieties for natural search rankings and traffic Manage and develop reports and KPIs pertaining to SEM and SEO including traffic reports and ranking reports, to share with stakeholders across the company
  • Run competitive audits and reports to share with key product-line stakeholders on how the competition is performing in SEM, SEO and display advertising
  • Develop on-page A/B tests for conversion optimization on SEM landing pages and main pages of our web sites.
  • Coordinate closely with the Marketing department in the US.
  • Knowledge of Omniture Site Catalyst and Google Analytics.
  • Develop a company-wide strategy for SEO 
  • Make recommendations to developers to improve SEO within online applications
  • Improve Cvents search rankings in several keyword categories related to our variety of products

Desired Candidate Profile

Education-
UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization, B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, Computers
PG:MCA - Computers, M.Tech - Any Specialization, Post Graduation Not Required, Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization
Doctorate:Doctorate Not Required
    • BS/BA/MCA/MBA Degree Required 
    • Must have 2+ years of SEM and/or SEO experience
    • Experience working with over 100,000 keywords in SEM campaigns
    • Experience using either Google Analytics or Omniture SiteCatalyst (Adobe)
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Basic knowledge of HTML as it applies to SEO 
    • Must have strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Adwords Certification is a plus
