Required Skills :
The social content manager will begin by being responsible for the social content creation and management. Expects to have proven editorial skills with outstanding command of the English language. The ability to work collaboratively in a team of diverse individuals, across multiple locations.
* Skill at both long form content creation and real-time (immediate) content creation and distribution strategies and tactics. A personal passion for new technology tools and usage of those tools within your own blogs and social media outreach (ie: Twitter, Pinterest)
* Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines within ongoing campaigns.
* Fluency in leading social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, etc
* Creates and edits online content on website, blogs, and social media to meet departmental objectives.
* Identifies social media trends to proactively target proper audiences, technologies, and products.
* Experience writing for various social media platforms in a business setting including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, LinkedIn, etc.
* Identifies new opportunities for social media activities to maintain competitive edge.
* Analyzes content to update marketing advantages and ensure brand consistency.
* Manages blog interactions to update content and highlight particular products.
* Assists in creating social media strategy and plans.
* Collaborates with others to determine content topics and priorities.
* Understanding of SEO and blog/website keyword optimization will be an added advantage.
* General understanding of social media marketing applications a plus (Hoot suite, Tweet deck, SproutSocial) will also be an advantage.
* Very strong adaptation skills, ready to take on many twists and turns as part of an exciting start up!
